A garden in pastel shades
An extraordinarily green-floral fragrance with a powdery iris and hyacinth at the center of attention. Small dabs of dark green aquilegia blend into a pastel landscape painting. Delicate colors that nevertheless light up vividly. It is a fragrance with an elegant, possibly austere aura, which nevertheless does not lapse into harshness. It also has the typical cosmetic scent of some Chanel fragrances. For me, it sometimes seems a little distant. Not a perfume that everyone wants to like. At least not from today's perspective.
I have the new version and also know the old one. The new one is a little lighter, a little less mossy, but more powdery and lighter.
Slight hints of fruit, peach, but possibly also melon, take away some of Cristalle's heaviness and allow the perfume to breathe.
I would not generally attest to the perfume's suitability for seduction, as a certain severity, but no harshness, resonates. It goes well with neatly coiffed hair, a knee-length skirt, heels without red soles, a high-necked blouse, soft red lips and a capeline hat that keeps out the sun. Does that fit in the garden?
Yes and no....The scent is unlikely to capture a natural garden, but it could be associated with an English garden.

Interlude - a sandstorm, a desert rose

It is a dry fragrance, just as hot air can feel dry. Only gradually does it spread out, always adding a scoop until all the aromas have been woven into a whole. Again and again you catch a glimpse of its beauty, it flickers light-footedly through the air despite its heaviness.
A fruity sweetness surrounded by incense makes up the start, in the middle the dry-floral immortelle asserts itself next to rose and jasmine.
A light green facet pops up here and there to lose itself in a delicate animal base. There is a skin-like musky scent, along with light walnut notes, minimally bitter. Some leather, some caressing vanilla, at this stage the storm has subsided, but it has not yet completely lost its power. It is not particularly accessible, but sometimes it is worth tracing its course again and again, like a symphony that you have to listen to several times in order to understand it.

"In Between" - a cold flatterer
How something cool can be so flattering is the perfumer's answer with "In Between". Peach often squeaks as a fragrance note, but here it comes across as very cool and fruity and yet not unripe or diluted. Sometimes white wine is characterized by a yellow-orange-fruity bouquet. I feel reminded of that.
That makes the top note unique for me. A flatterer could also be accused of remaining superficial, but I don't feel that way here either, because it reveals pure, delicate lily of the valley with radiance and jasmine as a warming nuance. Combined with rosewood and patchouli, the light notes gain depth. Everything is very polished and crystal clear.
Sometimes I think I can also smell roses, delicately mixed in, with a slightly tingling acidity. Violet powder covers the tamed floral splendor like a veil. I don't find the fragrance naïve, it seems serious, nothing to celebrate, but in a way it is an example of how still waters can be deep.

Pureness
The fragrance opens like a cologne, but the lavender cloud is somewhat denser and longer-lasting than expected.
Applied in the evening, I can still detect a soft trace early in the morning. The lavender smells like freshly dried, very slightly hay-like, herbaceous and aromatic green.
The sweetish notes only provide a delicate foundation and allow the lavender to take the lead. This minimal powderiness does not diminish the pure impression of the fragrance.
English Lavender - a timeless refreshment.
A little floral spice without any hot notes makes it shine, my soapy herald of spring.

Intense shower of flowers
Yes, it's raining all kinds of things here, at least jasmine and osmanthus.
The garden carnation note is for me to hear, yes, not loud, but, recognizable. Somehow, I find the fragrance really amazing, since I don't always get along with Serge Lutens or his perfumes in the best way.
This one is floral fragrant, a little stormy, but also soapy.
It has a certain note that reminds me of the Lush stores.... Colorful stiffness, intense, but not to the point of suffocating. Green and fresh, a little sweet, but not too much.
The honey I hardly notice, that pleases me even, because I can rarely do anything with honey in perfume, which tastes much better to me in tea.
Nuit de Cellophane is like a small storm, but tamed.
A floral green rain remains, with some femininity.
And just modern soap
