Le Sel d'Issey ISSEY MIYAKE

This perrfume masterfully done by Quentin Bisch for I.MIYAKE is a tribute of 30 years having L'eau d'Issey, a very special aquatic fragrance for men. And I do believe it was a tough challenge even for Quentin. The idea for salt which was brave enough was decided to smell of ginger, seaweed, sand, vetiver, cedar and oakmoss. It worked fine and it is a perfectly normal concept.

Quentin used seaweed and for oakmoss he thought it used to be seaweed too in the bottom of the sea before it reached the air and land and forests .Ginger is a powerful ignition along with Lemon, Bergamot and Petigrain. Sand and vetiver, oakmoss and Atlas cedar are the earthly tones of this "sel de vie" (salt of life) To have these elements more stable and reinforced the ingredients of the fragrance refer rose, geranium and coumarin.
