This smells like a ridiculously expensive cocktail at the coolest restaurant you've ever been to. The passionfruit note here fruity and tangy and lasts much longer than you'd expect it to. The mezcal is perfect, it's smokiness more akin to palo santo or fresh log fire than cigarette. Neroli flutters around in the top adding a touch of delicate sophistication, and the agave is just a lovely little kiss of sweetness to sell the fantasy. It easily lasts 6 hours, and it never cloys - even in the horrible Florida heat. I love this fragrance. It's the most unique in the whole lineup, and in my opinion it's crafted masterfully. Let it grow on you.

Soft, worn-in leather. A beautiful Ceylon black tea. The sharpness of cardamom in the opening and the dull static of cedar in the drydown. I'm sitting in a boutique tea store drinking something far more expensive than I can afford. The building is old and slightly musty but the tea and leather overpower any scent that could offend. Somewhere in this giant room sits a single sugar cube.

It's sexy in a tweed jacket sort of way, it draws attention, and it lasts forever, so be careful. You've definitely smelt this before, but this one has something mysterious and refined about it. So totally not my style and yet I'm magnetized to it when I wear it.

The part of your vacation where the fresh salt air meets the faded scent of your luxury gardenia and coconut scented suncreen. You're lying in the last rays of daylight but your skin is still warm. This fragrance opens with a beautiful salt and mildly lactonic coconut overlaying a subdued floral and strong skin musk. It is fresh, delicate, and powdery all at once. In the realm of floral/coconut beachy scents, this is a more unique entry that stands out because of the forwardness of the salt, and the strength of the musk, which is very powdery and very clean.

It also lasts so much longer than many of the other skin scents I've tested. I've woken up next day with the musk and ylang still sitting on my skin. It's not for me personally. I have a hard time with ylang ylang, and there's something about the musk that veers into musty for me (though this happens for me with all skin scents.) Overall, it's an uncomplicated beachy musk that is perfectly lovely, if that's what you're looking for.

This fragrance is extremely compelling. It's spicy, fragrant floral, and doused in a thick vanilla syrup. It's heavy and cloying (and clearly synthetic) when it opens but it tones down very nicely, allowing the sandalwood and patchouli to peek through, if only slightly. A body mist smelling and performing this way is nuts! It's not room filling but it's sillage is very noticeable for a body mist, and it lasts forever. I took a shower before bed and woke up still smelling like it. Bonkers. This is an excellent value at $25 USD for 125ml, and it's even cheaper if you buy the full trio. It's not my kind of scent at all, but I can recognize that many people would really like this, vanilla lovers especially.

This is a very good dupe for Father Figure by Phlur, just in case it needed repeating. I actually picked this up before ever smelling the original, and when I finally got around to comparing it was actually shocking how similar they are. Obviously, as a body mist its going to have a more harsh immediate impression from the higher concentration of alcohol, and Father Figure is better blended and extremely smooth. It is also overall a touch less complex than Father Figure. The price difference is extremely evident in this way, but considering the fact that you can pick this up for 5 dollars on a pretty frequent sale I will give it a pass. It's lightly sweet from the fig, and just the right amount of floral from the jasmine, with a softness thanks to the musk that makes it incredibly cozy. I wear this bad boy to bed all the time. I think anyone should buy this if they can, the value is unbeatable, and the perfumer is some kind of wizard.
