Accessible entry level oud oils in USA
Hey y'all! I'm wanting to get into oud at some point beyond it as a fragrance note and more as something to wear on its own. I am wondering about what would be a good place to start for something that would be pretty easy to get in the US? I see some stuff that gets highly rated is often hard to find on US sites. Right now I'm looking at Dehn el Oud Mubarak as a possible option, maybe Oud Pure Wild Indonesian instead. What are your thoughts, y'all?

Compared to oud fragrances I've tried before, both western-style (Nostos, Oud Wood Eau de Parfum, Oud Maracujá, Al Noble Ameer) and the Amouage ones I've tried at the store (Opus XIII - Silver Oud, Opus XV - King Blue, Jubilation XXV Man), this one is just so different. It has this like spicy, green kind of smell to it to me that overtakes anything I would normally picture as oud. What is it I'm smelling here? I'm sure other notes like frankincense...

Terroir & Oud…?
Is it generally true that different regions oud have different & recognisable characters? I'm new to the oud game, but already I associate Hindi oud with that barnyardy, faecal note, Vietnamese oud with a clean, almost fresh note, Cambodian/Thai oud with a fruitiness, &c, &c. Is this just marketing & any place can create any of the oud notes that get associated with specific places & it's more a matter of blending, aging, & distilling?
Yakub3 I mean, a big part of what you smell is also marketing. For example, if someone says this oud from Papua and it smells velvety, fruity, and earthy, your nose tries...
