Scent of the Day

Just decided to use 3 difference fragrances today between morning, afternoon, and night because why notMorning was my usual Strawberry Snowflakes, but the afternoon had me trying out Bright Christmas Morning, which I haven't really used - I quite liked it! Tonight I'm layering Gabrielle Channel with Strawberry Snowflakes to see how that goes!

Trying to bring summer back on this rainy day.

I layered Qawafi Voyage Nova, which is a dupe for LV Atrappe-reves and (not available on Parfumo) and Ajmal III. I went to a pool party and people were complementing how good I smelled. Love it! After 7 hours I can still smell it on my clothes

summer is coming to an end, and my 85ml of rifaaqat just came in! had a 15ml at the start of the year but lost it. forgot how fire this shit was 😩 long lasting, addictive, spicy sweet vanilla with a bit of woods for 20 quid?? they can never make me hate you, rifaaqat 🫂

Wearing Clean's Water Lotus because a lot of my samples are currenly buried beneath an Amazon box on my dining room table, and the only two boxes I could access were discovery sets from Clean and Masion Margiela. The Clean box was unopened, so it won out, and I remember seeing Water Lotus when I was going through some cucumber scents (love cucumber.)First, I get no cucumber here. Second, this is supposed to be an aquatic, but I also get not water here and, to my mind, acquatics should smell something like water, for the love of God. Hardly any do. What I DO get is a weak floral which dried down to a bit soapy. This does not bode well for the rest of the discovery pack (I bought it from Amazon and only now discovered it does not contain either Skin or Rain, the two scents I really wanted to try.)

Or find it online for a similar price. If you are curious and have $15-$20 to spend. PICK. THIS. UP. I am so pleasantly surprised and I was so happy it's cool outside enough for me to slap this one on skin.

This was a blind buy at a discount store lol. I've honestly been addicted to going to discount stores and finding things to pick out and buy. Scent is really nice to me, a bit powdery and I love the hint of apple and cinnamon that I get throughout the day. Not very apple pie-esque like people say however I see the vision.

From a lost sample of a forgotten fragrance to a recent purchase of a masterpiece!Recently, I’ve been obsessed with peach perfumes, but I kept coming across either commercial fragrances or synthetic disasters where the peach note was barely there or vanished after a few seconds. And, at the bottom of the sample box, was this one: just a few drops, but enough: I’d found it!

I dumped all of my samples that were even remotely described as a summertime fragrance into a basket today and the first one I grabbed at random was Muse by Andrea Maack. This is delightful. A perfect summer fruity floral. I used to wear Ed Hardy Woman back in my mid-twenties, and this sort of reminds me of that, but with a good strong mango note. It's a more interesting take on the fruity floral DNA of department store fragrances that were popular around 2 years ago. I really like it.
