I agree.
How about we all start posting in broken Thai, Mandarin, or Urdu, just for the fun of it (our own personal fun of course, 'cause let's face it, it doesn't amuse anybody else)... and see what a big fat mess the forum becomes.

How about having this topic CLOSED.

??
Why?
It's a perfectly legit topic.

The girl is gone. Peace is restored. No need re-hashing the past. I suggest that, "leave well enough be and close this whole stormy discussion."

I agree, however, there is also no need to close a topic for this is encouraging censorship which I think you have (and quite rightly too) an issue with.

If you notice Pipette, I actually suggested that we return to the original topic of this thread... until somebody barged in with a rather unnecessary incendiary comment.

Quite happy to drop it.

Pipette, don't you agree the thread is popular, 5 or 6 pages long.
Like you said it is over, if we stay on topic. We should be able to do this don't you think?
Just thought of another one.

Shrimp boat.

Yes, I live on the coast.

Yep, can imagine this to be rather hardcore, especially during the warmer months!

Chicken farm!

Second only to hog farms.

I was in a boat behind the shrimp boat, pic above. Didn't smell good.

Glad I wasn't behind the billy goat.

I remember spending a day up around the area in Pennsylvania, USA where the Amish people have farms.

Some are pig farms. (Thus the piggy reference.) I will never forget the smell.

Looks like this.....

but the SMELL!

I happened to come across this online and just had to share!

I know this smell too well.

Thankfully just dairy cows are near us. My husband will visit our Amish neighbor and I can smell cow barn on him like you wouldn't believe!

Mushroom houses are pretty horrible too.

Just thinking these Pennsylvania delights makes me want to go to Longwood Gardens to cancel out the negative.

So my husband, children and I were visiting my parents in Germany. The small town where they had retired was in a rural setting.

Beef stew was served at our nicely set luncheon table. I noticed nothing wrong with any "smell" ... but my husband could not "take" the smell of this beef of cows who had grazed on fields with manure fertilization. He made belief the morsels went into the mouth, but they were somehow pushed in my direction, so that I had to "eat for two".
