Belated Christmas Gift!

I was hoping you might help me choose a delicate and feminine scent to offer as a present to my mother:)

I have La Vie est Belle by Lancôme in mind. What do you think? 

Delicate and feminine is quite unspecific. What's her age? Her scent preferences so far?

out of the blue I would go for something like Mon Guerlain Eau de Parfum. Can't go wrong, will please everyone.

She's turning 51 and has a thing for delicate flowers. That's why I had La Vie est Belle in mind.

If delicate means "not to sweet, not to loud" I would tend to the EdT version of Mon Guerlain, if you can find it. It is also more floral than the EdP to my nose.

Delicate floral is the 2nd name of N°5 Eau Première - a modernized version of the classic.

Gabrielle Chanel Essence may be worth a try too. Very classy.
