Ohhh, Barry Lyndon.

Indeed Smile Although I have to admit that I have not yet watched that masterpiece.

Always a pleasure when the choice of music in a film matches with one's taste.

And it continues with Schubert for me (a dream duo Britten/Rostropovich)

And still more strings... (Appalachia Waltz)

I think that you should visit one day Ingmar Bergman's and, especially, Andrei Tarkovsky's works. Just look at these openings:

Thank you very much for your suggestions, Edarggnikis.

Unfortunately, the sound for the opening of Offret somehow did not work for me, but I found another video where the music was combined with the scene in the beginning which was stunning enough...

I had watched Fanny and Alexander as a child but was not able to appreciate the opening as it is back then.
One really should revisit past acquaintances for re-discoveries.

I will certainly visit Offret in full (as well as take a closer look at Tarkovsky's works).
Thank you again for your recommendation Smile

This one helps me read the reviews better instead of doing my job.

I've been enjoying lo-fi hip hop recently, too! It's really relaxing.

It is! I downloaded a few songs I heard recently. It might be my new favorite genre right now. I feel like, with all the chaos in the world, I need music that keeps me centered and calm. 💙

Wardruna 2 years ago 1

I have been to a Wardruna concert and now I am obsessed. I don't understand what the heck they are singing, but I can feel it though. As the singer put it so nicely, feeling is universal and therefore music is universal even if we don't understand the lyrics, we can still feel them.

So sensitive and fragile symphony. My favourite orchestral piece.

Pure beauty ..

I'm listening to "Enter" by Voyage.

It's synthwave which is super relaxing.
