It's not only batch variations. There was a major reformulation around 2018. Pre-reformulation versions are sweeter and denser, with more caramel. I have a bottle from the 2021 batch (1K02X), and it's more transparent and subtle. I think the drydowns are not drastically different; the openings are (sort of). 2021: the caramel here is like powdered sugar or cotton candy — delicate and airy, not heavy. Also, the aromatics (especially lavender) and powdery aspects are prominent. I don't really get the cherry aspect of tonka bean in my batch. It's more nutty and almond-forward. I don't mind it because it's closer to Tonka Impériale, which is also almond-forward to my nose. Let's not forget that 2015 bottles had almost 10 years to macerate. Vanilla improves with age, becoming sweeter and stronger, so that's an important factor too. I think the 2021 batch will improve with maceration. I haven't tried the latest batches (2023+). This fragrance is discontinued in my country. It's available in Paris now; city exclusive. I also like the Frenetic Delicieuse clone from Paris Corner. Sacrilege, I know! 😃 It's scary how accurate that clone is. I've been layering because the OG is not available in my country anymore (and the prices are crazy)... I spray original on my hair and skin, and I like to spray the clone on my clothes and/or linen. So, this layering technique makes the fragrance really dense and full-bodied... Not ideal, but I have to improvise. I have the largest bottle, 250 ml, and will not repurchase.
