I put my favorite perfumes in small travel sized bottles, they suppose to be sealed Is it possible that some of them immediately smell like the dry down phase when spraying them from the travel bottles? Maybe because of evaporation?

For example, Rifaaqat is a babycat clone first smell like woods and then it smell like a creamy vanilla at the late dry down, however when I sprayed it today it seems to smell like the dry down immidiately. Is it possible or I'm

delusional??

It happens to me with blazing Mr Sam as well, which first smell more like halfeti and then become very vanillic... It smellt vanillic from the start.

@Hollowcow  it seems from your description that you poured small amounts of your perfumes in travel size sprayers. And then you placed them in a bag closed it and put it flat im a suitcase. Before you use the fragrances shake up and down the travel size bottles and then spray. You should do the same if you have the habit of throwing a bottle of your favourite perfume in your large bag before you go out. What happens when the bottles of perfume are put down flat, or quite uphill in your rather large bag 's base is that the essence molecules of the fragrance dance in the juice of alcohol and distilled water. Do a good shake so the molecules go back to their place with the rest of ingredients of your perfume.

I had this with Creed AventusAventus . I don’t know how the frag is supposed to smell but I see it’s described as being fresh but I had none of that. Straight down wood and moss.

Next time I’ll try to shake it..
