What are your loathed fragrance buzzwords

I agree with disliking terms pantry dropper, man killer/lady killer, compliment getter, beast mode. But I think I only dislike these terms because they aim for a selling point that I'm just not interested in. When someone tries to influence using these terms, I only realise I am not the right audience and click away.

It's more so a phrase but saying that a perfume will get you "folded like a lawn chair" or "bent like a pretzel"... I didn't need to know that keep that to yourself. I quickly scroll past these types of reviews. 😒

Simple: the word „performance“ 😀

Blue, shower gel, out of the shower etc. - Maybe it's me, but I can't associate any fragrance with that. Is it supposed to be a heavy-handed way of saying the scent contains some citruses and a synthetic aquatic/marine note? Uhh.

Nuclear performance, beast mode projection - This is usually a flat-out lie, especially with designers.

Compliment magnet, panty dropper - You wish lol. 😂 Getting complimented by strangers is a myth.

I also hate buzzwords like "must-have" and "for any occasion" because that varies from user to user.

Yes! Awful! I saw one that said,  "It's sooo sexyyy... it will get you flipped like a pancake!" 🤣😬 No, thank you!

I hate hate HATE (!!) it when people say that something "smells like a public bathroom"... Variations: truck stop bathroom, airport bathroom, etc. What a lazy and disrespectful description. Especially one-liner reviews.

Another one is "toilet cleaner"..

And "bug spray".

Why do people even bother to leave those reviews. It's like their lives are miserable and uneventful. Their experiences are limited to visiting public bathrooms, sniffing bug spray and cleaning toilets. Sounds harsh. Yes. I don't care. "Public bathroom" reviews make me upset... 😤

How about 'smells like hairspray'? It says nothing.  I mean...which hairspray?? A hairdresser finished my hairdo once with a hairspray from Balmain...

It smelled so good and 'perfume-y' that I was almost tempted to buy it and use it instead of perfume 😃

Oh found another one: I hate it when people associate a scent with a celeb, like: 'You must be a bitch like Joan Collins to wear this' (mostly about chypres) or 'Princess Diana could have worn this' (often about florals)  I don't want to get the image of anyone when it concerns my choice for a perfume. (sorry for grumbling 😏)
