I know this scent is iconic and popular but I may have a question that may ruffle some feathers. Do you have to be rich to wear this fragrance? I'm on the fence of owning this scent cuz that's the impression I'm getting when other fragrance enthusiasts say it smells like old money which leads me to believe it's overly mature smelling.
Who's Green Irish Tweed for?
The word 'old' in 'old money' doesn't refer to age but to the source of the money/belongings (by offspring, inheritance etc.), so someone with 'old money' is not necessarily 'mature'.
There are a lot of rich young people with either old or new money and if they should think they would be the only ones entitled to wear a certain perfume because of that, they may be rich, but are certainly not sophisticated
Wear whatever you like/love and don't bother about scent profiles people give to certain perfumes, those are purely subjective.
Hope this helps

So one doesn't have to be rich/wealthy to wear this kind of scent?
It’s classy and masculine. Wear it with confidence and you’re good.

Ofcourse not! Ever heard of 'inner civilization'? Class and civilization is not about money! It's about your inner qualities.
The only reason why you maybe need to be rich to buy this perfume may be the price

You can wear whatever you want ant, and experience your own vibes. Maybe you wear it and feel rich and mature yourself? Or maybe you feel something different.

You certainly don't have to be rich to wear anything.
If you get the impression that wearing something won't make you feel good for any reason it's usually because of your tastes and biases, and if you feel confident and at ease wearing a fragrance you should just wear it.
