What is your suggested fragrance by the Parfumo Assistant ?

I thought it would be interesting to hear what everyone’s 1st spot and other worthy mentions that the Parfumo Assistant recommends to you for the time of day, season etc that it uses to create the choices for you. You can just post the number 1 spot fragrance without any other mentions if you want🙂

For example for me I get the following…

Some honourable mentions in no specific order are also (as I say you don’t have to add these extras if you don’t want to)…

Or a simpler method would be to take screenshots, or both. EDIT: My screenshots have changed to Afternoon even though it is still pre noon here. I didn’t think of screenshots until after I initially made the topic hence the change but it shows us just how different it changes things depending on the time of day which I think is cool 😎

You can also say if you went with any of the suggested fragrances 😊 So far I am wearing nothing as I am waiting until after my shower 💦

A Sunday Summer morning here

Still at number one position is Light Blue pour Homme Eau Intense

For as Sunday Afternoon as I log into Parfumo:

The picture is trimmed in a strange way. Anyhoo, I do watch the suggestions, including my numerous samples and travel sizes, but my final decision is based on the actual weather at my window and my mood. As much as i love Light Blue Sun (can't catch it with the #) and Y Eau Fraîche (same thing), today I am wearing Dior Homme Sport (2021) (ranked #5 in the assistant).

We have a very rainy summer here in Belgium (as in Germany and UK I guess), in contrast to other areas in the Northern hemisphere where it seems to be so extremely hot. So I wear some "louder" fragrance when it is raining, which is not quite in line with the suggestions of the assistant.

For me it's now a summer afternoon on a weekend. I'm wearing something completely different now though, Rima XI to be exact.

I use some of the suggested perfumes on very specific occasions. Pour Un Homme de Caron (1934) Eau de Toilette is a nighttime perfume to me, "Opus 1 - Rose Coup de Foudre | L'Atelier Parfum" is one I wear mostly in very hot weather because it's so refreshing, and Bat (2020) is for when I go hermit mode. I have a complicated relationship with Pas Ce Soir Eau de Parfum, I loved it when I first bought it after using up two whole samples, but the love faded very quickly once I owned a full bottle. It also doesn't help that when I wear 203 Framboise Vanille Mûre with my favourite ginger body lotion it smells practically identical for a fraction of the price.

For a summer night on the weekend

Whisper Rain (1st) followed by True Star Gold, Virgin Island Water, La Vie est Belle Domaine de la Rose, Far Away Bella Sunset, "L | Harajuku Lovers / Gwen Stefani", Far Away Fantasy, In Bloom by Reese Witherspoon Eau de Parfum, Eau de Soleil Blanc, Orange Flowers, Le Beau Le Parfum, "Olympēa Solar | Paco Rabanne", Whisper, Zealous Flower Eau de Toilette and Eros Eau de Toilette

Interesting, we were both recommended a D&G Light Blue fragrance, though i am pressuring it uses popularity as a way to create some of its suggestions.

..... strangely as technically it is Monday morning so yes we are past weekend through on to the week now, but not "night" yet but i guess we still think of it as night until we go to sleep don't we, clever assistant lol

my top recommend (summer weekday evening) is Light Blue Eau de Toilette unsurprisingly haha.

I call for a vote of no confidence, the assistant is biased lol

OK we have a major change in the suggestions today and I was rather surprised at the one in first place. I think it surely doesn’t just go off the most popular fragrances as this is a rare one.

It is obviously keeping the niche fragrances in my collection for the weekend evening lol

I'm sorry if commenting on a zombie thread is in poor taste.

I do love the assistant feature here, I sometimes struggle with overthinking my SOTD. Do I follow it usually? No, but I have a few times. Regardless, it's fun to check it.

As Dark Things Are Meant to be Loved is my first suggestion.

Assistant is a fun little feature, but if I needed a reminder that it would be nice to go for Black Orchid Eau de Parfum or Tobacco Vanille Eau de Parfum right about now – I'd just stop ignoring the little voice in my head that keeps whispering these evil ideas into my ears every waking day, lol.

Not at all 🤗 On the contrary I appreciate that people still find older threads and bring them back to life instead of just making a new one (for some reason the moderators don't seem to be too active on Parfumo's international side combining similar threads), there's lots of interesting topics and discussions from years ago when this forum wasn't so active yet. ☺️

My assistant suggested Pink - Basic Pumpkin for me for this Halloween day. Such a lovely suggestion! However I decided to choose another orange bottle Alien Sunessence Édition Saphir Soleil instead as it's a sunny day here in Scotland and I also have a Star Wars themed Halloween outfit today 😄🎃

Seems not much has changed in 2 years for me as my main one is still Christian Lacroix - Ambre for Him 🤣 as seen in my last post in this topic 😅 It seems the advisor really wants me to wear that again. Why not though? It is nice but with it being Halloween I will be wearing Van Py Rhum today, so maybe tomorrow 😊

My assistant recommends Tam Dao Eau de Parfum for today. If I include my decants, it recommends L'Eau .

Tam Dao is a solid recommendation for a fall day. L'eau is a decant I have, but I don't like. It's too powdery/cinnamon-y for me.

I actually use the tracker to see which perfumes I haven't worn for a while and that's how I decide. I ignore all the summer ones, they're at the top of the cue and then choose based on longest time not used and how I feel.

But today, friends, is testing day. Today will be Hibiscus Mahajád . Pray for me. I'm terrified of Maison Crivelli's performance. If it's a "no", I'll never get it off!

I have a slight change now that I wore Christian Lacroix - Ambre for Him it has put Dandy Me in first place.

I really like the assistant feature but I generally look at my collection and sort by worn long ago. Then I pick based on the season or occasion. Right now I'm wearing Black Intensitive Aoud

Click your avatar ant the top of the page, and then the assistant which I have highlighted in this screenshot. 

I assume that the Assistant is influenced by what you wear as well as the ratings/opinions on the perfumes themselves? I have just recently joined Parfumo so I have no wear history almost - most of my perfumes on Parfumo appear as unworn, though of course I have worn them all at various times.

With that intro, mine are:
