Exclusivity outside of price tag

Exclusivity outside of price tag 1

Im curious about perfume brands that do exclusive releases and 'feel' rarer. I know insane price tags for some perfumes can work for established fragrance houses but Im looking for examples outside of that.

Like Le Labo does city-specific fragrances you can only get in those stores in the city.

Are there other examples like this or houses that almost only do limited-release collections/bottles?

Hi @DrydownLofi ,

When you search on the page of a certain brand (Guerlain for instance), you can look up 'editions'  (by choosing 'collector bottles', 'limited editions' etc. when clicking 'editions' (not sure if that's what you mean, but....Smile

Me neither. I really don't understand how folks spend thousands of dollars without testing first.

Check out Darren Alan Perfumes website. He has a perfume of the month subscription plan. You can get exclusive/one-of-the-kind/limited edition perfumes every month, 12 per year. He can also create a bespoke fragrance for you; it doesn't get more exclusive than that. I think that Olympic Orchids and DHS Perfumes also offer bespoke/custom fragrances. Their prices are reasonable.

Krigler offers bespoke fragrance services, too (but I think it costs like $50 K, or something ridiculous like that... and it takes them 2-4 years to create it). *Don't recommend that one!🙃*

If anyone knows of any in the UK I'd love to know,
Outside of that I think very small houses would probably have some soft of exclusivity, given that their means for creating a fragrance is more limited? Cannot create hundreds of bottles and such.
