Main picture suggestion alternative?

Pardon me if this has been asked before, but I have noticed when I send pictures to the designated email address for main photo updates nothing ever changes. However, when I have submitted new perfumes in the past I have attached a picture to be used for the main photo in my initial submission and it has always been accepted and ended up as main photo.

So, my question is, would this  process also be acceptable for perfumes that are already on Parfumo? Essentially meaning that instead of sending a new main photo to the Parfumo email, we submit the new main photo as a revision, and once approved it can be added?

I have noticed exactly the same thing. After a revision the picture magically appears, but then sometimes I have thought that no one even reads the emails as there's usually no respond to them even though it's always been adviced that images should be sent via email. Emailing about things is also a quite old-fashioned way IMO so I definitely agree that there should be another option to provide main picture suggestions.

I have updated perfume images on three occasions via email. I remember the third time it took really long for them to reply and to implement the changes so I sent another email as a reminder. They excused themselves by saying they were very busy. That's probably the case now too.

It would still be good to hear from a moderator/editor if we actually can submit perfume images in the revisions. 

On the top of my head, maybe that isn't advised due to image compression (maybe Parfumo website compresses images and reduces quality). 

i submitted a brand photo through a revision (of a fragrance i had proposed, no less) and got told to email it and the revision was rejected.

I actually meant in my own post (and probably what the original poster meant too..?) that when making a new proposal or a revision for some other reason (for example notes or concentration) and adding pictures to the sources, then the main picture has been updated too at the same time when the proposal or revision had been accepted. That has happened to me several times. Revisions for just updating the picture shouldn't be submitted, that's against the rules atm. However would be handy if it would be allowed in the future or that if there would be some other way to suggest main photos than only email. But that's true that Parfumo always reduces picture quality when posting, and IMO that should be fixed too, there should be an option to post photos without losing quality.
