...Two of my favourite perfumes have the most unpractical bottles."gucci Eau de Parfum" is so heavy, it is really hard to spray (unless you have the 30ml bottle, that one is ok) and "summer by Kenzo" doesn't stand, so I have to lay it flat somewhere, and it takes up too much space.

...I got the big 200ml bottle of "Beige" and now I'm so bored with it. I wish they would sell smaller bottles of the Les Exclusifs line.I have to say also that one day a perfume may smell really nice on me, and the next day it may smell completely off. ...I don't really hunt for vintages, but as it turns out, most of my favourite perfumes are already discontinued. I try new releases, hoping to find something I will love as much and will make me give up on my discontinued loves, but so far I haven't found anything that makes me feel as good as my treasured discontinued perfumes. So I try to stock up on my favourite 4 or 5.

...There are so many perfumes that make me feel good, it changes from day to day, depending on my mood, and my chemistry. In the morning when choosing my perfume I sniff the nozzles, and pick the one that "speaks to me" that day.One that never fails to make me feel good is "Gucci Eau de Parfum". When I wear this I just want to sniff the skin off my arms. I could bathe or drown in this stuff.

It is so powdery that it makes me aware of it at all times, no subtle and smooth there.

It's all about the money...The logical solution would be to stick a warning label on perfumes, like we can see on cigarettes and alimentary products that contain e.g. peanuts.Now, how difficult a solution was that to come up with? ...I understand how saddening it is when you want to like something so badly but it doesn't work with your chemistry. I have this problem with the Annick Goutal line. They all have something in common that smells plasticky on me and I have to wash it off.I'm happy and lucky I guess that SL works so well for me. I remember my first trip to the The Ginza boutique in Kyoto in March 2005 to try out SL. I left the store with Clair de Musc and Fleur de Citronnier, both of the more inoffensive kind. 7 months later I bought Datura Noir and Daim Blond. SL is the perfumer that made me step away from florals and be more adventurous. I started appreciating his more complex works, and collecting them. Today, my 2 first SL are the ones I wear the least, they don't impress me as much as his other creations do. My favourites on me are Chergui and Douce Amere, I feel as if they were made for me, they blend so nicely and make me feel good. My husband who is very picky with perfume wears Gris Clair: a very crisp and clean scent with just a hint of smoke. I can imagine it would work on every man (I don't like it on me). Did you try that one Coutureguru?
