...I usually love gourmand perfumes, especially those from niche and more expensive houses... I think cheap materials can ruin a gourmand even more than a floral or oriental.Vanilla, Chocolate, Cacao, Rum, Honey, Hazelnut, Almond, Coconut - these are my favorite gourmand notes.

...I'm not a huge fan of marine scents, but I was impressed with this one: "Pioggia Salata" by Il Profvmo (which means 'Salty Rain' in Italian) it's very beautiful, it does smell like the sea on a windy, cloudy day... sort of melancholic but very nice :)

...Love: Vanilla, Musk, Patchouli, Ylang Ylang, Immortelle, Magnolia, Heliotrope, Tobacco, Cacao, Coconut, Hazelnut, Almond, Green Tea, OrangeDislike (when too intense): Oakmoss, Lily-of-the-valley, Clove, Tuberose (actually tuberose is more of a love/hate thing)

...I like this house too. I own 3 samples from them and all 3 are very beautiful and unique perfumes:"Laetitia Millesime" is sensual, earthy with lots of patchouli"Helene" is my favorite, a very creamy floral oriental (tonka bean, jasmine and ylang ylang, very pretty)"Rue Rance Eau de Fance" - unisex citrus vetiver, very refreshingI'd like to test more from Rance in the future
