Winter's coming, what is your favorite fragrance to wear.
by Anessa | Perfumes & Brands
...For me, while it's still the rainy part of late autumn (usually typical November weather), NinfeaNinfea and "Brit Rhythm for Her (Eau de Toilette)" seem most suitable :)

A quick announcement
...Dear members: This topic allows us to share our daily fragrances with other fellow fragheads on this platform and thus give them an insight into our daily "scent history". For the sake of comprehensibility, we politely request that only fragrances in our database be referenced. At this point, I would also like to briefly remind of our policy regarding banned brands (listed here): conversations about these are not desired in any part of this forum. Posts relating to such brands will be moderated in the future. We thank you for your understanding.

Why Is This Site So Quiet?
by Anessa | Parfumo Community
...I agree that interaction using all the channels possible is a key here - commenting reviews and statements, or others' fragrance collections (yes, it's possible for anyone who did not know :)), replying to blogs and just start an exchange of thoughts. Meetjoeblack:Imagine sending someone a Christmas card, and the recipient only being able to know that they received a card, but never who sent it. How many people would take the time to write that card?I do understand the feeling of a little frustration if one doesn't know whom to thank. On the other hand, being part of a community, I would consider anything I do would affect the whole, regardless of whether I know this person ''personally'' or not and whether it leads to clearly defined and immediate reciprocity. It's enough to know that it's someone from this community. This being said, except for rewards and votes, any other action will always show the username. Personally, I do not mind remaining anonymous if I awarded or upvoted someone's writings/pictures. If I wish to start a conversation, I will comment anyway. In my eyes, therefore, the interaction does not really depend on (openly) 'rewarding' each other and returning the favour, but perhaps more on everything else as mentioned in the beginning.Last but not least: There are 3 chat bars that can be used for interaction and conversation - the status bar on the homepage ("ticker bar"), the one on the Community page, and the private chat on your very own profile page (can be activated via settings).

Cheap Men's Teenager Fragnance
...Hi, I agree that it depends on where you are and what type of fragrances you're looking for.Generally speaking, I've seen Dsquared² and Zara's fragrances being mentioned a lot.For instance, "Vibrant Leather (Eau de Toilette)" - apparently discontinued, but on the perfume page, similar fragrances incl. Zara's are mentioned.Another from Zara - "From Paris to New York".Then, Yves Rocher as already mentioned - "Nature - Bois de Cèdre et Citron Vert", for example. For fragrances in this vein, I'd also take a look at the brands Jeanne Arthes and especially Jeanne en Provence. Both belong to one company based in Grasse and have nice fragrances for a little price tag. They should be found at e.g. Karstadt or Kaufhof, if you're in Germany.Should you prefer sweeter fragrances, Boss, Versace... come to mind, but you might have tried them already (at Douglas or else)

Summer date fragrance suggestions
...Same here as Exciter, I like citrusy in summer, too.Nothing new, but I find "L'Eau d'Issey pour Homme (Eau de Toilette)" a timeless classic. Some from the Arden Green Tea line are quite unisex despite being marketed as women's scents.A fragrance for private hours doesn't always or necessarily have to be fruity or sweet, as far as I am concerned. Depends on the wearer's type and the company's taste, obviously.Btw, here are some threads related to summer fragrances:https://www.parfumo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=404https://www.parfumo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1076This thread by a member contains a very detailed description of some fragrances, including those suited for summer:https://www.parfumo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=32766

What are you listening to right now ?

...Edarggniknis:I think that you should visit one day Ingmar Bergman's and, especially, Andrei Tarkovsky's works. Just look at these openings:Offret: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvda7vGTcZMFanny and Alexander: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ap_q9wVl2OIThank you very much for your suggestions, Edarggnikis.Unfortunately, the sound for the opening of Offret somehow did not work for me, but I found another video where the music was combined with the scene in the beginning which was stunning enough...I had watched Fanny and Alexander as a child but was not able to appreciate the opening as it is back then. One really should revisit past acquaintances for re-discoveries.I will certainly visit Offret in full (as well as take a closer look at Tarkovsky's works).Thank you again for your recommendation :)

What perfume is this?
by Anessa | Perfume Discussions
...I don't know this perfume either, but I agree, the cap looks very specific, like an iceberg or monument, some I've seen in Scandinavian cities.Perhaps from late 80s-90s?The second part, the last name of the designer I assume it to be, reads as "Lund" to me.The first name looks to me starting with a K? Then an I, and an "er" at the end...Any fashion designer who sounds familiar to you, MrsGuerlain?
