... StarMajesty @Rojabird Any luck with some of these suggestions? Hi, @StarMajesty ! Thanks for asking. It’s a lot of sampling and I don’t have all recommended perfumes in my home city. So I order a couple every month. It’s a slow process😁

... Scentedbyte "Jardin de l'Orangerie | Dries Van Noten" I recently got it and have been thoroughly enjoying it! Keep in mind I don't own a lot of prominent floral perfumes so this may not be "unique" to those who have smelled a lot of orange blossom perfumes. And another beautiful milky, sweet, white floral is "Blanche Bête | Liquides Imaginaires" Both scents are delicate Thank you for your suggestions! They look great ☺️

... Ringtale Hi @Rojabird, I can't imagine someone not liking "Fidji (2003) (Eau de Toilette) | Guy Laroche" actually. It's lovely! I prefer the EDP (I used to think I liked the EDT better and I like the brightness of that one more maybe, but I love some sillage 😉and the EDP has better sillage if I remember it well) but they are both lovely and longevity of EDT is fine. I sprayed it yesterday before going to bed and could stil smell it this morning. And very affordable to give it a try I think. But then....If you appear to like Fidji....you're up to the next level and really should try "L'Air du Temps (Eau de Parfum) | Nina Ricci" (or edt)....so beautyful. Didn't mention both because they are not distinct white flowers like you asked for...But lovely! Ah yes! They seem to have a more oumpfh to them.😆 I don’t know why I suddenly thought of Fidji, it just popped up in my mind. Might try it out in the near future then🤔

... StarMajesty "Coach (2016) (Eau de Toilette) | Coach" is an airy floral, but also a bit watery. "J'adore Parfum d'Eau | Dior" is a fresh floral with a bit of creaminess. "Starfruit & White Flowers | 4711" is a delicate floral. The starfruit is not too pronounced, but if you don't like any fruit at all, skip. "Inflorescence | Byredo" A greener white floral. A little soapy. "Lucky (Eau de Parfum) | Dior" Another green lily of the valley, but still pretty fresh and not super intense. "Sweet Jasmine | Lanvin" This one was too light for me, but still pretty. They sound lovely! I’ll check them out! Thanks

... BottledUp "Jour d'Hermès (Eau de Parfum) | Hermès" is a very transparent, floral bouquet. it is a mixed and citrusy white floral to my nose ( i think there is also a little rhubarb but I honestly am not familiar with it). "Jour d'Hermès Absolu | Hermès" is more of a gardenia take on the original. i think both could be worth trying. + "Pure Poison | Dior" is a sharp orange blossom and jasmine scent. Thanks. They all sound amazing!

... Ringtale I just bought "Jardins de Bagatelle (Eau de Parfum) | Guerlain" and I find it very lovely, a bit abstract (but I believe Eden is a bit abstract too?) huge sillage, but I don't find it loud or sultry (some do though). Could be a bit too green for you but some find it more flowery...so...I'd think: sample first. If you like Jasmin, I can recommend "Gelsomini di Capri (Eau de Parfum) | Carthusia" A very TRUE jasmin and lovely in spring and summer (Carthusia is a bit niche, but...:-)), Very beautyful and lovely scent. Thank you, @Ringtale ! This is somehow a new chapter in my fragrance journey, so I don’t really know what I think of green notes in floral fragrances.😆 but I’m curious nonetheless! I’ll try out your suggestions! Do you think that "Fidji (2003) (Eau de Toilette) | Guy Laroche" might fit this category too? Or is it more bold compared to the lighter and more delicate fragrances that I use?

... SilverLily I'm kind of on the opposite side of the white floral spectrum from you but I can definitely recommend a few. "Néroli Oranger | Matière Première" I found to be a very clean and faithful recreation of orange blossom. "Olyssia | Sylvaine Delacourte" Light and pretty, also orange blossom focused. More soapy than Néroli Oranger. "Fox in the Flowerbed | Imaginary Authors" Very fresh, dewy jasmine bush (leaves included). "White Tea | Korres" and "Ange ou Démon Le Secret (Eau de Parfum) / Ange ou Étrange Le Secret | Givenchy" If you're okay with some fruit too, both are very pretty and clear. Thank you! Lovely suggestions. I’ll see if I can get some samples of them. 🙂

... Hello all! I’ve done quite the fragrance journey after a few years of sampling and trying out different perfumes. I thought I was a niche babe, I am not. I thought I was an oriental and amber babe, I apparently am not. I was really hoping to be a dark fragrance babe, but nooo. I am not it, no matter how hard I tried. I have come full circle this year, as I am only wearing the perfumes from my youth and early twenties. And someone finally put into words what it is that I actually like: white florals that are more on the delicate, transparent and lighter side! The ones I’ve been wearing lately are the following: "Eden | Cacharel" "1881 pour Femme (1995) (Eau de Toilette) | Cerruti" "Laura (Eau de Parfum) | Laura Biagiotti" "Pur Désir de Lavande | Yves Rocher" . Also "724 (Eau de Parfum) | Maison Francis Kurkdjian" and occasionally "White Patchouli | Tom Ford" Based on the above mentioned fragrances, what would you recommend me? Both vintage and newer ones are welcome. Thanks

Genuine question: why are sold items still up in the Souk?

... Amaretto I assume that the sellers also do this so that you can come to their market and look at other offers. I also don’t like that ads are not deleted immediately after payment. In my opinion, it is better to discuss all the details of the purchase in private messages, because the correspondence cannot be edited, unlike an advertisement 🙂 Yeah, I’m thinking that SOME do this! It’s a bit peculiar. Especially when I see an object that I bought last summer is still in the Souk. Why not just simply remove it? But you might be right that some do it so that you might look at their other fragrances that they’re looking to sell. But some might still have it up just until the deal is done and the package has reached its destination, and then they remove it. But yes, it is a bit odd to still have an ad up a long time after the sale is complete.

... Guszi I keep sold items until the buyer received perfume for his/her reference and comfort. I think it’s kind of courtesy- keep original ad, pictures, price so that if there are any complaints we can both reference the original ad. Thank you for your input. That probably means that it is the norm to keep the ad up until the buyer receives the package.

... Cocopah Hi! I've been wondering the same thing myself and to be honest, this has been a source of disappointment for me bc when I see a perfume that I've been searching for a long time, I get so happy 😁to see the offer only to click on it and see that it has been sold😔. I'd prefer not to have seen it at all! This is the reason why, when I have sold a perfume, I delete the offer from the souk asap, so yes, it is possible to delete it. Of course, I only speak for myself and don't know if there's a tradition of keeping the offer visible long after the bottle is gone. If so, can someone with more souk experience enlighten us? Regards Ok there IS an option to delete??? Then I really don’t understand why it’s left up. It must be annoying when people contact wanting to buy an item that you already sold a while ago? Thank you for actually deleting your sold offers, it is appreciated. There’s been so many times I’ve written to someone and I’m really eager to buy their fragrance, and it’s sold.. and then I forget about it, and after a while I start searching the Souk for said perfume, and I contact the same vendors again and ask the same questions. 🤣 but why not remove the offer straight away? Why leave it there at all? But maybe someone can enlighten us? I hope so! I’m not so active on Parfumo and the Souk (I only buy, never sell), so I don’t know if there are unwritten rules that I am aware of. take care!

... Hello all! I have a question I have been thinking about for quite some time, and I’m hoping someone might explain it to me. When I search the Souk and I find an offer there, the perfume is already sold and the seller has only put “SOLD”, or “Verkauft” in the ad. And sometimes the seller hasn’t even put in the ad that it is already sold. Why doesn’t the seller simply delete the ad? Is it not possible to do it? I am genuinely wondering if there might be a reason why sold objects remain in the Souk, since I haven’t sold a perfume yet I don’t have that kind of insight. Thank you!!

... Hapax Do you know "Pour Un Homme de Caron (1934) (Eau de Toilette) | Caron"? It's an old classic that is still popular today. Although it is a men's fragrance, I think it can also be worn by women. You should definitely try it if you like lavender and don't know it yet. I’ve never tried that one! Thank you for your suggestion. :)

... Hello all! I’m reminiscing about the lavender perfumes from the early 90s, and I’d love to find such a fragrance today. But I feel that the majority of the lavender soliflores I have tried recently are too artificial. Anybody who can recommend something as lavender-y as a 90s Yardley English Lavender bottle?? I just bought a vintage bottle of "Pur Désir de Lavande | Yves Rocher" and I am hoping that it can bring me that feeling of being in a lavender field on a hot summer’s day lol. Would very much appreciate it!

... That’s great news. According to their website they still have a perfume that was discontinued in 2022 or 2021. And if that’s true, I now feel confident buying it from them.

... Hello all! I don’t if this is the right subforum, but here it goes. Has anyone bought perfumes from cheprofumo.it/cheprofumo.com? What are your opinions? they have a tester for sale that is a recently discontinued perfume, and I would like to know the authenticity of that site. That store has 57,000 likes on Facebook, but that can always be bought. thank you
