Very nicely and helpfully described. I'm still not ready to pay that price, especially since I'm already super satisfied with his other scents and oils. But this sounds like top-shelf Oud from dear Taha again. Clean yet so damn complex, that's exactly what I love :)
It has little to do with what one typically expects from Oud, as the deep, strong, dark character is missing. Everything feels light and suspended. It's like the Angels Share of an Oud (with a clear Kinam character). No animalic notes, no dark roasted aromas, hardly any bitter notes. Imagine a light amber-like juice that flows past iris flowers and a bit of ylang-ylang, dripping through spices and nuts (cinnamon, almond, hazelnut, pepper, tonka bean) and finally flowing into milk. A kaleidoscope of nuances, perfectly balanced. It reminds me of oils like Green Kyara but is even more complex and initially has a more floral character.
