It seems as if the perfumers at Armaf aimed to incorporate all available fragrance directions in the creation of Private Key To My Soul. At least they have succeeded very well in that.
This scent is spicy (thanks to a generous amount of cardamom in the top note), woody-clean (vetiver, cedarwood), and fruity-floral-sweet (see the rest of the fragrance pyramid) all at once.
The result? Maximum olfactory overload. All scent impressions constantly bombard the nose and brain simultaneously. It is hardly possible to engage with the fragrance. This scent is too unharmonious for me. Without the spicy top note, it might have been something. The sillage and longevity are top-notch due to the high concentration and the overall high quality of the ingredients. Personally, I just don't want to smell so colorful all the time.
