Showtime Channoine

I was at the Channoine cosmetics consultant yesterday, the wife of a friend of my husband.
The skincare line is actually quite okay, and they also have their own natural cosmetics line, which I actually prefer.
But now to the essentials:
In the end, we tried some fragrances, and Showtime immediately reminded me of a scent I know very well. I had to keep smelling my wrist, so smoky and sweet.
But I just couldn't say where I knew the scent from. Ultimately, I bought it because I found it somehow totally fascinating and unusual.
At home, I tried it a few more times and sprayed it around. Very heavy and opulent, beautiful but not really suited to me...
Well, then I pulled out my decant box, and with Shalimar's Ode a la Vanille Sur la Route a la Mexiques, it clicked.
I sprayed both and what can I say...
Such an astonishing similarity, simply incredible... Perhaps Showtime is a tiny bit less sweet, but otherwise, they are like twins.
For anyone missing Shalimar's Mexiques, I think Showtime is the perfect substitute.

Addendum: Longevity is still top with Showtime after 9 hours, Shalimar is already a bit weaker.
