deep blue
the bottles caught my attention. They remind me of laboratory glassware with colored liquids, just as one would imagine in an alchemist's kitchen.
The fragrances have no names but are symbolized by specific colors, which are associated with certain aspects of the female personality.
The Blue represents loyalty, feminine intuition, and is meant to embody the calm side.
Now to the scent itself:
It starts fresh, but even with the first sniff, I can detect the fiery peppery note that stands for liveliness. Then it becomes floral; I can clearly identify rose and ylang-ylang, as well as a dry incense note. The sandalwood note gradually becomes stronger and takes center stage. The pepper is still recognizable, but no longer as fiery, instead softened and slightly powdery by musk.
Very oriental, not a light and airy fragrance, but somehow profound and complex.
For me personally, it is out of the question, as the pepper note is too dominant for my taste, and I cannot warm up to the ylang-ylang note either; overall, it is too heavy and oriental for me.
