....then my nose is not mistaken when an inexpensive perfume smells great - like this one. Very harmonious, slightly rough like fine sandpaper, the flowers are woven into this fine-resinous-woody and also noble "forest feeling," which does without overwhelming and cloying notes. And yet it promises "Orient." A pleasantly bittersweet "sweetness" oscillates above everything, deep yet somehow transparent, flowers drift by in the background, with a solid, patchouli-grounded foundation. With this "Arthes" from Provence, it once again shows that good things don't have to cost much. And can stand its ground alongside similar, but far more expensive "niche" perfumes.
A clear recommendation for all who love the gentle-sandalic oriental of the 1970s Indian oils!
