There's absolutely nothing offensive about Eclaire. It's a soft creamy vanilla with caramel and is a bit powdery. I feel like it doesn't have a strong sillage but it could just be that the fragrance isn't particularly loud and in your face. The opening comes across a bit alcoholic but it actually works with the fragrance, kind of like that tiny alcoholic hit when you have tiramisu.
