Over the weekend, I came across a sample of Si Lolita. Luckily, I must say, because contrary to all other opinions, I find the bottle rather unappealing and probably wouldn't have tested it in the store.
At first, I thought the pepper would overwhelm me. However, it doesn't take long for the pepper to step back a bit, and patchouli takes center stage, carried by a tiny hint of warmth/sweetness. The scent lasts a very long time, and I can also perceive it on myself for quite a while.
I've added it to my wish list because this fragrance is perfect for autumn and winter. I feel mature with it (okay, I already am) and somehow elegant. :-)
And in the evening, I go to bed, still surrounded by a hint of Si Lolita, gently wafting into my nose... a bit of sharpness from the pepper and something pleasantly warm... and I fall asleep with a blissful smile.
Oh yes... I absolutely cannot associate this scent with my grandma. My grandma always smelled delicately floral, creamy, and fresh... that typical freshly washed scent!
