perfect winter fragrance DNA with questionable longevity

For me, the perfect fragrance DNA for winter when looking for a vanilla scent. Primarily, I perceive vanilla here. Along with it, there’s cinnamon and tobacco. The tobacco is not as overpowering as, for example, in TF Tobacco Vanille, and the cinnamon is rather subtle. The scent feels very close to the skin, and the longevity is comparatively poor. This could, of course, be due to my batch. Overall, it’s a very nice winter fragrance that is more suitable for a relaxed evening on the couch, as it tends to fade in public. A little tip to finish: try layering it with an oud or amber oil; in my perception, the fragrance performs better without being overshadowed by the oil.

I completely agree with your recommendation of the Oud scent; it gives Herod a slightly more masculine "darker" twist - definitely worth trying. 👍🏼

I've had my Herod for at least 5 years now. The longevity was already bad back then... Really a shame.
