The Ala surprised me. I have never smelled such a pronounced apricot note in the opening before. The cognac and honey accentuate the sweetness of the fruit. The rosemary aromatizes the fragrance as it develops and gives it a slightly masculine note. Unfortunately, in the dry down, this beautiful apricot is overwhelmed by the base notes and completely disappears. It's a pity, because that makes the fragrance feel a bit "conservatively oriental" to me, but it's definitely worth a test.
