I bought the fragrance in autumn 2022 and immediately became fond of it. I really started wearing it from 2023.
When I smell the fragrance, I think of apple and sage and indeed of mint. It has a typically fresh Valentino Uomo DNA, but the fragrance also has a sweetness that I really like. After the drydown, you can smell the tobacco, which makes it masculine and elegant. The longevity is slightly above average. The sillage is also a bit stronger.
But why the title of this review? I wore this fragrance to my prom in a midnight blue suit and I must say that on that summer evening, at least 8 different ladies approached me to say that I smelled really good and asked what I was wearing. I can also often remember in the past that heads turned as I walked by, but since it’s not an overly sweet fragrance but rather a fresh apple scent, I see it more positively.
Today in 2024, I work in a perfumery myself and I must say that many people are not even aware of this fragrance. Customers often refer to it as a shisha scent or double apple, but they often buy it just a few minutes after it has dried on their skin.
I know a lot of fragrances and I actually don’t often smell one of this kind. I think we should mix tobacco with fruits more often in the summer.
