I bought the fragrance in fall 2022 and immediately fell in love with it. I didn't really wear the fragrance until 2023.
When I smell the fragrance, I think of apple and sage and actually mint. It's a typical fresh Valentino Uomo DNA, but the fragrance also has a sweetness that I really like. After the drydown, you can smell the tobacco, which makes it masculine and elegant. The longevity is a bit above average. The silage is also a little stronger.
But why the title of this review? I wore this fragrance to my graduation ball in a midnight blue suit and I really have to say that on that summer evening I was approached by at least 8 different ladies who said that I smelled really good and what I was made of. Even in the past I can often remember heads turning as I walked past, but because it's not a dead sweet scent but more of a fresh apple scent, I see it more positively.
Today in 2024 I work in a perfumery myself and I have to say that many people don't even have an overview of this fragrance. Customers often refer to it as a shisha fragrance or double apple, but they often buy it a few minutes after it has dried on their skin.
I know a lot of scents and actually I don't smell this kind of scent that often. I think you should mix tobacco with fruit more often in summer.
