I was in a perfume store again today to sniff the latest scents, and I found the fragrance twin or the original of Zara Amalfi Sunray, which is Tom Ford Neroli Portofino Acqua (it's just like my comment about Zara Vibrant Leather EDP, as I sniff both fragrance strips while writing this comment). When I first smelled Amalfi Sunray, it immediately felt familiar. It's like seeing someone in the city and thinking, I know them from somewhere. Yes, that's exactly how it is with this Zara scent.
The curious thing is that I didn't know the original by Tom Ford until today.
The scent is fruity, fresh, and sweet. I always think of a pineapple and Miami Beach. It's rare for a fragrance to catapult me so quickly to another place and time. I would find it a shame to wear this scent only in summer.

Unfortunately, I have to take the scent out of my collection today as I have realized that it gives me headaches, and I am sure it is due to the neroli.
I want to add that I now know why the scent felt familiar to me from the start. It smells somewhat like 4711. I remember 4711 from my childhood and had it delivered the day before yesterday. It's interesting how a scent can be stored in the brain for 30 years.
