Northern England. A secluded beach, here and there a tree trunk surrounded by beach grass. The waves leave small castles of foam, spray wets the surf rocks, and the seagulls comment on the scene with cheerful calls. On the lips, you can taste the salt of the sea and feel the rough sea breeze on your skin.
The scent relies on just a few notes, as is typical for Jo Malone. This gives the fragrance an "easy grab" character.
It is a fresh, salty aquatic with a woody character and good longevity (6 h), as well as noticeable sillage. I am pleasantly surprised for an aquatic.
The minimalist bottle design matches the positive "simplicity" of the fragrance. In terms of price-performance ratio, the Zara fragrances created by Jo Malone are unbeatable.
"Wood Sage & Sea Salt" is clearly the big brother of "Salty Ocean Bouquet," so salt lovers can also find satisfaction here.
