Rose Gourmand Women Zara

i've bought it bc i wanted the most accurate rose jam fragrance for "fat thursday" (a tradition when, in poland, it is common to make rose jam-filled donuts)
after doing some research, i've found out that myriads of people have recommended roses vanille by mancera or this one (the supposed dupe)
so... i've blind bought rose gourmand
well, it is not something that i expected
first of all, it's pretty mentholated, sweet but definitely not in a jammy way
somewhat like the feeling an artificial sweetener can give u- this distinct cooling effect on your tongue
dries down to a creamy ambery vanilla, honestly i barely get the rose...
it's mostly "minty", ambery and vanilic, not in an edible way at all, more like in a "arabic rich woman" way
don't get me wrong, the parameters of RG are astonishingly good, but it seems that my hunt for a photorealistic rose marmalade remains unfinished...
