The opening is very heavy on the cherrywine but is also musky and has tobacco on it.
With time the cherrywine tones down a bit letting the tobacco come through more.
Tobacco is not necessarily smokey rather its pleasent smell that adds to the musky cherry wine.
Core of this scent for sure is the cherry wine (at least in casket version) but i would not consider it gourmand scent at all. It also has bit of floral touch to it but thats rather small part.
Resinous, spicy, boozy and bit sweet scent.
Overall very great scent and if the non casket is not far from the casket i dont get why it gets such a negative response from thoes who have tried it. I personally enjoy this scent but in the end we all have different tastes.
