Indulgent Pepper and Citrus Woods
I was intrigued right from the start. I get the pepper, and I like it. Quickly after comes the citrus and ginger, and the combination starts to evoke the idea of cooking dinner with someone you're attracted to in a hot kitchen, making you hungry for the meal and the taste of your lover at the same time.
The resin and cypress are there too, opening the door for the smoky, creamy, middle notes to shine and hold the spotlight for a while. There is so much earthy-woodiness from this point on, and the pepper continues to weave itself within the tonka, cedar, vanillin in the drydown.
This is not a safe blind-buy by any means, but it is worth sampling at the least. For me, this combination of notes creates an outdoorsy, musky, indulgent skin smell that I find sensually delicious. Like nature and sweaty sex are having a potluck.
