Although it is currently getting the most hype on social media, Untamed is the weakest one for me from Mykonos’ Sunforged Collection.
I understand what the fragrance is trying to do: it is a twist on two Byredo fragrances, Bal d’Afrique and Alto Astral. While BdA gives you a beautiful, clean, fresh laundry scent, Alto Astral brings a coconut note with it.
And that is exactly where the problem lies for me. A fresh laundry scent becomes a coconut fragrance that is too synthetic. And I am really not a fan of coconut. This might still work in combination with lots of lemon, but here the plan unfortunately no longer works, so this bottle probably will not end up on my shelf.
