Impressed

Biphasic spicy opening, with pepper, pungent, supported by chilli for similar characteristics in the first couple of minutes, then merging with saffron to form a single warm spicy accord.
It becomes evident at the beginning of the heart phase the presence of jasmine, which despite the 3 types does not cover all, but gives a very delicate aquatic touch with no indolic nuances, which partly dampens the copious opening, acting as a bridge to the tobaccos, in my opinion sweet, with some streaks of dried fruit/liquor, which go well with the cognac note that will soon come out, giving yes a boozy effect, which however does not take the drift IMHO also due to the high concentration of the juice (we are around 58%).
Arriving towards the base, we witness the gradual disappearance of the cognac note, with the oud taking the stage, first with a smoky note, which is well complemented by the tobaccos that do not possess it, and then the woody part becomes evident; to my nose they do not appear fermented, this being compatible with a reduced soak period, or a new gen extraction process, but as I have not delved into the subject in depth I will not expand on it.

In summary, a really good perfume, which I will wear in an evening context, or all-day-round with cooler temperatures.
