... I’m going to be blunt and say there are a lot of religious fruitcakes and Fox News zombies on there. If a perfume is marketed in a way that looks too “wOkE”, the comment section is going to be a shit show. I’ve seen weirdos tell gay Fragrantica users that they will “pray that they find God.” I’ve seen one guy outright accuse gay and trans people of being child predators and another guy try to blame Black Lives Matter and Obama for Trump getting elected twice. Online spaces are so important for making connections, but it’s exhausting having to put up with abusive language from people who have a completely different sense of reality. Especially in this political climate where things are getting more high stakes every year.
