Here it becomes true once again: The scents you like the least stick around stubbornly. How do they know that? Do they have an unpopularity sensor?
In my search for MY coconut scent, I also gave this one a chance. However, I find that the vanilla dominates. It overwhelms everything. I can't smell any coconut at all. Maybe it's because no real vanilla is used in this price category. Or my expectations were too high. Perhaps it wasn't entirely fair to pit it against Virgin Island Water by Creed in an arm battle.
Hmm, it doesn't have to be that; there are also perfumes with "synthetic vanilla" that still smell good. Of course, there’s vanilla and then there’s VANILLA :D.

I think the frangipani might be too much for you in the long run. It can be quite strong. If you like coconut, try Coconut Fizz by Guerlain. It's really nice for summer-fresh and a real hint of natural coconut (more like coconut water).
Well, it's not called Coconut of Zanzibar but Sunny Sea Side of Zanzibar. So I don't automatically expect coconut flakes but rather an exotic, warm scent. For the price, the performance is totally fine. Virgin Island Water is not even close and therefore not comparable.
I didn't like this one either.
For me, this scent is more of a "sunscreen scent."
