35 degrees, high humidity, New York - Time for something fresh!

It was another hot week. 35 degrees, muggy, New York is on fire! Survived 9 days of business travel once again. When I thought this morning about which fragrance would carry me through the day, I didn't have to think long.

Wakening Woods - the ultimate refreshment on super hot days. And completely uncomplicated, versatile, fresh, herb-spicy. With this, I even feel well-perfumed at a business meeting.

The scent doesn't last forever, but to be honest, the price/performance ratio here is truly out of this world. You can easily reapply multiple times a day without it hurting your wallet.

I think Geta Schön has created a masterpiece here in an absolute cheapie price range that should not be missing from any collection. The citrus freshness is a super pleasant companion to the green, woody notes. Coriander and pink pepper are only subtly played around by flowers and then picked up by very nice forest notes.

Longevity and sillage are typical for this type of fragrance, but quite good. You really must not forget the price. And even though I am currently shrinking my collection to 20 fragrances - almost exclusively niche - Wakening Woods has a lifetime residency!

You're right, it refreshes and does what it's supposed to do.
