Avantgarde
What Nuit de Bakélite is for tuberose, this perfume is for neroli. A green, potent, avant-garde masterpiece.
So fresh and juicy, full of bursting, overflowing energy. Like unripe blossoms on a branch, pulsating, waiting to finally burst open. A wonderfully extravagant, natural, green-creamy-waxy floral purity.
The opening reminds me of the Naomi Goodsir scent. This primal green, antiseptic, galbanum-like pleasure. Bitter and unwavering. Then the typically pure, sweet, subtly waxy and slightly honeyed floral note of neroli. Like on natural steroids. But never too floral. Never indolic. The green cloak ensures that strong streaks color it and together they create a beautifully gentle-spicy aroma. Incredibly well-groomed. Deep in the drydown with hinted orange nuances, which, however, do not take away from its uncompromising nature.
A scent that has been realized with a crystal-clear vision and wonderfully self-confident attitude. There are no frills here. No distractions. No prisoners. Pure, "raw" neroli. If you are a lover of this note: Go for it!
With heartfelt thanks to Medianus76 for the opportunity to get to know it.

I really like neroli when it's showcased well.
