According to Hildegard von Bingen, the pelargonium is indispensable in winter. It helps with respiratory diseases, colds, and also with headaches. Pollen allergy sufferers appreciate its effect because it contributes to the activation of the mucous membranes and has a decongestant effect. H.v. Bingen's geraniums are somewhat strict and have nothing to do with this scent.
The only thing they have in common is a very relaxing effect on body, mind, and soul.
One might think that with 2 ingredients there can't be a significant scent development, but it's not that boring at all. LR&G surprisingly starts as a rich floral scent, no sweetness, just the purity of a radiant, unobtrusive rose and a slightly more dominant geranium. Overall, very beautifully intertwined; however, those who have difficulties with geraniums should also refrain from testing it (I have the same issue with carnations). LR&G also has a gentle spiciness, and its base is warm and cozy.
It is a relaxing scent and doesn't aspire to be anything more.
I also have the shower gel and body lotion, which significantly increase the relaxation factor and also enhance the longevity of the perfume... the longevity is already quite decent. So if I want to be completely relaxed or I'm not feeling well, this little gem comes into play... in other words, a completely unexciting scent for cuddling with a book and blanket or also for the theme... I'm going to bed now, I have a cold and I'm so poor... whatever... Hildegard already said what the pelargonium is capable of.
The only thing that bothers me about it is the packaging unit; the flacons (which are like travel flacons) only contain 10 ml, and there are no other sizes available. Such a product should be available in 100 or 200 ml, as I use it like a splash, and 10 ml is a bit cumbersome.
