House of lies

Abdul Samad al Qurashi is arguably the top fragrance house in Saudi Arabia. They are known to make very expensive oud/mukhallats for the royal family and for the holy mosques. However, having tested some of their oud oils and perfumes, they are extremely overpriced and deceptive.

Most of their oud products are full of solvents with very little authentic oud being used. Their deceptive marketing of X years old oud like their famous 100 year old kalakassi is a lie. They take a few drops of the actual oud and mix it with more recent extracted oils + solvents and sell off the entire blend as 100 year old kalakassi. Somehow they don't run out of this magical 100 year old oud , makes you think what they are putting in the bottles.

Maybe their royal prince level oils are fully authentic... Probably not.

Al Qurashi blend oil is a similar story. It is very expensive for what it offers. Mediocre performance combined with a scent that isn't special. Oh and the attar bottle is garbage, like something you buy off AliExpress.

Having tested multiple products, none of them have any performance. Some do smell nice like safari oil or al qurashi blend perfume but this one is not it. Don't even waste money on their budget products such as the body oud series, it's all mid tier. There's better fragrances out there for a similar price.

Don't take my word for it, go search oudaddict forums and see the countless posts talking about how much of a fail this house is especially if you want to experience authentic oud.

My suggestion for those on a budget, go to ajmal for their oud oils if you want to experience real oud or Arabian oud for their mukhallats if you want a nice smelling attar with performance.
