It’s really hard to find the right words here.
On one hand, this Eau de Toilette, with its very strong top notes of apple and cinnamon, gives me the feeling of Christmas in summer; on the other hand, it is just so incredibly fresh that I feel a sense of freedom, lightheartedness, and a walk in the sandalwood forest we all know around the corner, where vanilla greets us, entwined around every branch with its beautiful blossoms... So you see, there is nothing "authentic" about these "moments"!
However, that absolutely does not change the fact that it is a damn beautiful scent; it does not smell synthetic and is anything but heavy. On the contrary, if you were to bottle it in a Red Bull can, "Red Bull gives you wings" is a very fitting statement for this fragrance.
But beware! Just as quickly as you rise into the air and drift into dreams, just as quickly it can be over, and you land on the bland ground of reality; nothing is fruity-fresh, cinnamon-citrusy, and woody-vanilla anymore... That moment when the colors and good mood of reality fade, and you realize that the scent has dissipated.
Similar to Dr. Jekyll, who transforms not into Mr. Hyde but into one of the many colorful gummy bears from our well-known children's series when he gulps down this beautiful toxic green reagent, it is uncertain how long the effect of this potion lasts.
For some, the longevity is a very good average, while for others, the fun is over after just a few hours, at least for those who do not aspire to a side career as a vampire, because then you can only smell the fragrance directly with your nose on the skin.
Nevertheless, Abercrombie & Fitch (which almost sounds like Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde) has created a truly beautiful, excitingly fresh scent here. At this price, it doesn’t hurt to carry a small travel bottle and reapply the fragrance from time to time.
I love the combination of the toxic green liquid in this elegant reagent bottle with the somewhat decadent-looking faux leather label - it visually resembles a potion very much - Love it!!!!
Therefore, I give it an absolute recommendation to buy, considering the fluctuating longevity, as long as one is willing to reapply the scent from time to time.
