Hardly anyone knows this niche house from Italy, and even fewer talk about it. Therefore, you can find almost nothing on the web, and the last reviews are from ages ago. I stumbled upon this brand by chance.

This fragrance embodies timeless elegance for me. Like a tailcoat that is worn today just as it was 100 years ago and has hardly changed in appearance. It smells almost a bit aloof, and if it were a person, it would be of the noblest descent.

I would even go so far as to say that it is the most elegant fragrance I have in my collection. The focus is on a balsamic woody base with a hint of oud, which receives its slightly powdery elegance from iris and cypriol. I also think I detect a hint of rose, which is not listed here. This is the fragrance I would reach for if I were going to the opera ball, a gala dinner, or other luxurious events. However, its versatility is somewhat limited.

I would rate the sillage as rather average. I think this is appropriate for its purpose, but also quite fitting. After all, you don’t want to stand out unpleasantly. That wouldn’t be proper. In this sense, kiss the hand ;).
