Summertime staple!
To this day the only perfume I ever used up. I've worn Luna Dulcius while overseas for work in a hot climate, and the day I ran out, my coworker asked me why I didn't smell like cake anymore! Apparently that's how it reads to others, and I was very surprised to hear that, because LD was predominantly a fancy suntan lotion fragrance to me. I asked my coworker to elaborate, and he confirmed the scent was very pleasant, and that it reminded him of sugar cookies and plain cake batter with a hint of vanilla.
I got a little nostalgic thinking about the memories I made wearing this, so I decided to get my second bottle the other day. And I can somewhat agree with my coworker now. I do still get suntan lotion, coconut remains the heart of the fragrance, but it doesn't smell like perfume, not exactly. It just gives the wearer an aura of cleanliness: imagine taking an everything shower, using your most expensive lotions and oils, before you move to a white sunlit room where you catch a whiff of vanilla cake. But not too sweet. That's Luna Dulcius. It's really gorgeous and I'm glad to have this gem back in my collection.
