This fragrance was my very first perfume, and the funny story behind it: There was a time when I was in the 5th or 6th grade, and every girl used the Impulse Vanilla deodorant. I quite liked the scent (back then) and bought it for myself. However, my mother would always have a mini crisis when I sprayed it in my room and the scent wafted into the living room.
One day she came home and brought me this perfume as a replacement. The compromise was that the Impulse deodorant had to leave the house immediately ;)
So at 11, I had my first perfume, and I loved it; I only used it on special occasions since the price was, of course, very high for my perception back then.
Today, I don’t wear it very often anymore, maybe after showering or just before going to sleep. The reason: it lasts maybe one or two hours, then it’s gone. The scent itself is simply tied to many beautiful memories for me, and I still like it a lot: vanilla, slightly spicy, not too sweet, somehow fresh, and just very pleasant. It doesn’t change at all in the drydown, but actually remains in its original form. Even my very scent-sensitive mother likes it (she can accept it). And it’s just a part of my childhood :)
I wouldn’t buy it again, though, despite the experiences and memories; the longevity is just way too poor :(
