Like most Adopt' fragrances, the opening isn’t great. At first, it’s an overly sweet raspberry—almost candy-like, and quite disappointing.
But once it settles, it smells surprisingly nice: the violet comes through and blends with the raspberry, and then a soft powdery facet gradually emerges.
In the drydown, it ends up smelling a lot like Insolence Eau de Parfum —granted, not as refined, of course, but still... for a small budget, it’s a pretty charming alternative.
