Sweet Summer Scent for Winter

I have had this fragrance for a while, but I could never really categorize it, which is why writing a review has been difficult for me so far.

I blind bought it (yes, I was heavily influenced by YouTube) and found it mostly too much, too sticky, too sweet in the summer. It gave me vibes of "Terracotta Le Parfum | Guerlain," which I also find too sweet for summer. In contrast to the Guerlain, Hibiscus Palm is a little (not much) fresher and clearer. It is very elegant and is more suited for a summer evening in a classy cocktail bar than for a 30-degree hot summer day in the park or at the beach.

I have often had it on my "To-Go" list and once even almost sold it, but in the end, I just couldn't bring myself to do it, even though I might have worn it twice in the summer.

BUT: This morning at -8 degrees, I was inspired and dug it out from the back of my summer fragrances and sprayed it on - AMAZING!!!! I know thematically it doesn't fit together, but in cold temperatures, it develops much more elegantly and less sticky on my skin. When the sun shines and possibly even the first sunny spring days come, I can now very well imagine wearing it and I'm glad I kept it.

The longevity is great, even longer in winter than in summer. The sillage is also good; I only spray it twice and I'm already well noticeable :-)
