I have always loved vanilla very much. Be it in food or in body fragrance. There are so many different types of vanilla, from cardboard sweet, kitschy to the more bitter. The palette is vast, and many vanilla scents are similar in one way or another. But I am still on the hunt for the perfect vanilla fragrance, which I may have found here.
After the first spray, it becomes clear that this is not a kitschy vanilla scent! This one is very mature and very elegant. In some comments, rum was mentioned. I didn't notice it at first, but after wearing it multiple times, this note has also come to my attention, kept quite in the background but still present. This could also come from the plum, which is usually a bit alcoholic. Additionally, there are the finest, peppery spices, a few rose petals, and most importantly, the wood. The fragrance has plenty of that, and it fits together so wonderfully that a scent is created that is so sexy and irresistible! The scent also reminds me a bit of a liqueur in the color gold/yellow, matching the bottle.
Here, a fragrance has been created that evokes some childhood memories through the vanilla and awakens the noble and sexy lady within through the finely spiced wood. This scent is incredibly well done; every time it wafts into my nose, I can't help but smile and think, what a vanilla tree, which of course has absolutely nothing in common with the vanilla tree for cars, but the vanilla and wood have never harmonized better for me than here! Simply irresistible.
So, anyone who enjoys vanilla scents, along with something slightly alcoholic and spiced wood, should definitely give this a try. Especially now for the cold season, it is an absolute dream! Great longevity and sillage, just as it should be in winter!
