I find this rose-oud quite interesting, especially because the pepper and smoke lay like a cool, silver skin over everything, slightly obscuring the rose and highlighting the brighter contours of the earthy, bovine oud, which develops such distinct incensy notes and emphasizes the rather sharp wild leather.
Silver roses sound so much better.
